I love this treadmill! It is quiet, though when you first turn it on, the "beep" is very loud. After that, it gets quiet. The drink does not stay in the drink holder very well. The weight loss workout settings are a little too slow for me, but the incline workouts are great- really tough! I have had this treadmill for a month, and so far, no problems.

I live two hours from the nearest store that carries this treadmill. I had to drive back to the store to exchange TWO parts that were broken upon opening the box. The belt does not stay centered. About every 1/2 hour I have to readjust it to get it centered again and the faster I go the faster it moves to the side. If I go over 2.6 mph the console starts shaking so much that my ipod start cutting out. The drink carrier can only hold short bottles or cups because of the way it is slanted. I will not buy a horizon again!! ...It may be cheap for a treadmill, but for this amount of money it should be decent enough to use! If I wanted a treadmill to sit around and look pretty I would have bought used. ...now I think I would have been better off.

Not a bad machine, but if you want something that doesn't wobble when you run, I'd look elsewhere. Once I start running around 5 MPH, the dashboard wobbles horribly. Also, at 5+ mph the motor becomes pretty loud. I probably should have bought the other one on the floor for a grand-I can't remember the brand.

The first thirty minutes of use were great, I was really happy with the product. Then the motor stopped working. Had to take it back apart and fit all the loose pieces in a van, not easy.

When my gym closed I decided rather than sign another two year contract at another gym, to invest in the piece of equipment I use most often, a treadmill. This treadmill is sturdy, quiet, and was easy to assemble. It was incredibly heavy, so make sure you have at least three people to carry it. The only draw back, the cup holders slant forward instead of back, so your water bottle will fall out at higher speeds. I've enjoyed this treadmill.

I average using the treadmill 5 days a week for 35-60 minutes each time. I was concerned about sturdiness of the treadmill when jogging, but it has proved to be of good quality. I especially like the speakers to hook up my MP3 Player while working out--Now I would not purchase another treadmill without this feature. The User Workout Tracking System is nice too. I don't think the Heart Rate Sensors work very well. We had some difficulty putting this together b/c the holes for screws were not exactly in the right place. But, I am very happy with this purchase overall.

Assembly wasn't terribly difficult for the average do-it-yourself-er. Some aspects required a little extra muscle and mechanical know how. The treadmill is easy to operate, quiet and very comfortable. The major downside is the heart monitor. It is extremely slow to respond and I don't believe its very accurate. The speakers are a nice option but definately not the highest quality of sound. The cupholders are also not the best functioning, but they are adequate for a treadmill.

I use the treadmill to run indoors in the winter. So far I love it. The only thing that isn't so great is the pulse feature. It starts up pretty high (70) when I'm first starting. My resting pulse is 52, so I know that's not right. All in all, though, it's a great treadmill.

I am not a gym rat by choice. My profession requires me to be in shape and this treadmill helps me achieve that. My wife and I have owned it for approximately 4 months and we use it twice every other day. I did not have any assembly issues like others have. Took me approx. 20 minutes to put it together. I would highly recommend this treadmill.

nice machine works great..its great for the price.only two problems with this machine.1)HEAVY...make shure you either get it deliverd or have help getting it in the house. 2)the other reviewers are correct the crosmember is a pain too put in....but other then the crosmember it was prety easy too putt together..


one more thought its is kinda big so be sure too have plenty of room for it.

I did quite a bit of research and on-line shopping before buying this treadmill. We were intimidated by how heavy and big box was but had it put together in under an hour (no joke- comes w/tools too)Easy to Fold up and store or move-has wheels under it. Quiet, great workout programs pre-built,speakers sound great, Etrack is awesome. Would highly recommend [$]

For the price,this is pretty good tredmill. The drawback was, it was very heavy to get into the house. Assembly was pretty simple. My 19 year old son had it fully assembled in about 2 hours. I helped when he put the console and the support bars on. Make sure you read the instructions first because there is some assembly you need to do before you take it out of the box. Don't worry if you miss this, there are instructions in the book to tell you what to do. Overall I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Took one's advice and paid for professional assembly. Took two guys 45 minutes from unloading to departure. This is a solid piece of equipment with easy to manipulate controls. I am very satisfied and have already logged 26 miles in 12 days.

I put this review up last month, and someone took it down. Very important put brace on before console!!! I didn't listen to first review and it cost me 3 stitches above my eye. The brace fits very tight if you put the console on first. As I was trying to follow instructions I pulled the brace through and it split open my eyebrow.Please whoever took this off the first time LEAVE IT ALONE!!! OR you just may be facing a class action suit. I'm only trying to avoid further injury on the next potential buyer, Thank You!!!

I've been running on this treadmill 3-4 days/week. Super quiet, the speakers are actually pretty good (probably as good as your standard computer speakers), and the programs aren't that bad either. I like the fact that it tracks my progress for the day, week, month, etc. It was pretty easy to put together. The only downside was that it weighs 200+ lbs and trying to get it in the house with just two people was a workout in itself. Maybe consider having someone deliver it and put it where you want it.

I bought the treadmill about a week ago and really love it. The motor is amazingly quiet. So, quiet, in fact, the first few times turning it on, I had to look down to see that the tread was actually moving. The platform seems sturdy and the stop/start/speed changes are fluid and quick, as are the incline/decline. It comes with built in speakers to plug an Ipod thru. The speakers are clear and work well, but sound rather tinny. (Note to Horizon Company: Some audio bass/tremble controls are an idea for future model). I liked the warranty: LIFETIME frame and motor. (Having been screwed in the past by Nordictrack/Icon limited warranties, I appreciate the long duration).

The only negative I can state is the assembly instructions are confusing. There are only 5 or 6 steps, but the wording and diagrams are odd. It helps to read them all the way thru before starting. The support bar under the console would be easier to install if done before the console, not after as the instructions read ... But for the warranty, powerful and quiet motor and sturdy construction at a very reasonable price: 3.5 stars!!!
