i use the scooter every day when it is charged and when it isn't i just can't wait to use it. it may be a little slow for my needs and takes a little while to charge but it is a great scooter. i don't suggest using it for stunts and tricks but just for pleasure and amusement. i highly recommend it.

Comments about Currie Technologies Currie I Zip Stealth 130 Electric Scooters:

This product is cheap and falls apart easily. The warranty period is short and the comapny charges you to ship new parts. We purchased one for the kids for Christmas and it has already broken 3 times. The parts end up costing more than the scooter itself - it should be called the "disposable scooter". When it breaks, just throw it away. Currie Technologies, the manufacturer, is not very helpful.

My son broke back plastic gear on a street curb. This part should have been metal to be more durable. I am having a very hard time finding a replacement part. It is a shame this plastic part that broke easily crippled my son's [$] scooter.

Don't buy this jumk, bought 2 for my 7 and 9 year old girls for christmas, one of them the brake cable was broken out of the box, the other the wheel broke in 2 hours, after fixing the wheel the belt broke the following week, by then company mailed new brake line only for it to brake in 2 days. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.. after reading other reviews they all sound the same, bad wheels and brakes

Bought two of these scooters as Christmas presents for my sons. On the second day one scooter had a flat tire, and on the third day the other scooter's motor stopped working. Both scooters would not run very long after charging. Returned both to the store. Very dissappointed. We are going to step up to a more expensive and hopefully more reliable scooter.

The scooters back tire wore flat only after 2 days of riding. I was very disappointed with the scooter and thought I wasted my hard earned money. After reading other reviews I'm not the only person feeling like this. I think this product should be recalled for the wear on the tires. The company surly will never get any returned customers if this is how their products last.

Comments about Currie Technologies Currie I Zip Stealth 130 Electric Scooters:

Warning!!!!! The wheels on this product are terrible. Bought this scooter for our eight year old. Unfortunately, the company does not put warnings on the outside of the package that would be relevent in determining whether to buy their product or not. This is especially true concerning tire wear. Unfortunately, the warranty on this product excludes wheels and cautions against skidding. The polyurethane skate wheels on this scooter are so easily worn that "skid warnings" are heavily emphasized "inside" the contents of the box. THIS MEANS, DON'T APPLY THE BRAKES. Any pressure from the brakes result in loss of rubber. While the front wheel show signs of cracking, the back wheel have lost it's shape leaving a pumpy ride. New wheels can be purchased between $20-$30 plus shipping. I wanted to return this product once I opened the box and read all of the cautions and warranty information, but I would have to return it to the manufacturer rather than to the location where I bought it. The problem is- the shipping would have cost about half as much as I paid for the scooter. So I'm at a lost. Hope you have learned a valuable lesson from my purchase.

well i love it sooooo much. i go really fast when i want to but i can also just have a nice little short ride where i can relax and just looks at the clouds and wonder. I think that i would recamend it to any person who is smart and has a few bucks in there wallet. If you buy this product you will fall in love with it and never want to leave it alone ever again. If you have a siboling or friend it is fun to race each other on the lovely street sides. Or you can simply just take a short ride. One thing about it is that during all the riding and fun i was thinking about the exercise i was missing out on but then i thought just a few push ups in the morning or some sit ups and i will be fine!! so all in all i think that you should buy it, and if you don't want to then you are serisouly CRAZY!!!!

My 8 and 10 yr old got these for x-mas and they were back in the box for pick up within 2 hours...both broken. They were used on a level street no hills or bumps. The bearings gave in the one wheel and the other made an awful clicking sound. Plus, customer service number on scooter and in manual doesn't work, you're on your own if you have a problem. My best advice...KEEP THE RECEIPT!!

Comments about Currie Technologies Currie I Zip Stealth 130 Electric Scooters:

I am absolutely in love with this scooter!! I got it for my birthday and it goes so fast and going over curbs is a breeze. The brakes stop right away even on a hill going downward. On hills going upward it is like the elevation doesn't bother it, it goes the same speed as going down a hill. This scoooter almost seems like it glides because you don't feel the bumps it is going over.
